In this practice-oriented course, Dr. Han Berghuis, clinical psychologist, and Dr. Theo Ingenhoven, psychiatrist/psychotherapist, focus on the broad perspective of personality pathology. The starting point is the Alternative DSM-5 model for personality disorders. In addition, psychodynamic concepts and instruments, complex differential diagnosis and indication are discussed. Possibilities and limitations of semi-structured interviews and questionnaires are discussed. The goal is to learn to integrate complex (differential) diagnostic information for integrated case conceptualization and indication. After brief theoretical introductions, joint practice with various diagnostic methods is the focus of this course.
