In this one-day, Dutch workshop, Prof. Dr. Ad de Jongh and Dr. Laurian Hafkemeijer reflect on the latest scientific insights regarding treatment of the consequences of exposure to damaging events and circumstances, discuss the similarities and differences with regard to conditions such as PTSD, Complex PTSD and borderline personality disorder, and teach you how to set up and successfully implement treatment for these patients using EMDR therapy.

Target
This workshop is designed for psychologists, psychotherapists and psychiatrists trained in EMDR therapy.
Objective
Upon completion of the workshop, as a participant, you will know/be able to:
- The latest science on trauma treatment in people with personality disorders.
- Creating a case conceptualization in people with personality disorders
- Performing EMDR treatment on people with personality disorder.
Content
Using video material and practical exercises, participants will learn how to use a targeted case conceptualization, and a smart trauma-focused treatment approach to make the treatment of a personality disorder a success within a period of up to 10 treatment sessions.

Study Load
